We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for an AUTO OFFER EPIC conversion assignment. The RN will provide emergency nursing care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries while utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. This assignment requires recent experience with both EPIC and Cerner electronic medical record systems. Responsibilities Assess, prioritize, and provide emergency care to patients with acute and critical conditions. Perform rapid patient assessments and triage. Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency treatments. Assist with trauma, cardiac, stroke, and other emergency cases. Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition. Document all patient care accurately in EPIC. Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection control protocols. Support the organization's EPIC conversion initiative. Requirements Active California RN License. Recent Emergency Room (ER) acute care experience required. EPIC and Cerner experience within the last 5 years is required. Must have worked as a hospital employee or successfully completed a contract assignment. Each work history entry must clearly list the EMR/charting system used. If multiple EMR systems were used for one employer, dates for each EMR must be specified. AUTO OFFER assignment. No RTO permitted. Firm start date. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Required Certifications Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License. Basic Life Support (BLS). Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred. TNCC preferred (if applicable).
