POSITION SUMMARY – RN Utilization Review

POSITION DUTIES – Evaluates patients' clinical records to determine the medical necessity and appropriateness of inpatient behavioral health services, coordinates with providers and payers for authorization and continued stay reviews, and helps ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and reimbursement requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS –

• IN/compact RN license
• Bachelor’s degree
• BLS
• HWC
• 1+ year recent utilization review experience in an acute hospital setting
• Previous utilization review experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT – 13 weeks

SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK – 8am-4:30pm

SYSTEMS – OnBase, HCS

START DATE – ASAP
