Step into a crucial role supporting adult patients with a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing assignment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a registered nurse with experience in Med Surg environments, ready to make a difference in patient outcomes by delivering top-quality care and collaborating closely with healthcare teams.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• Prior experience in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Strong critical thinking and time management abilities
• Proficiency in electronic health record documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for adults with a wide range of medical and surgical diagnoses
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to hospital policies
• Monitor, document, and report patient status changes
• Work collaboratively with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and ancillary staff to provide coordinated care
• Educate patients and families regarding disease process, treatment plans, and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment consistent with regulatory requirements and best practices
• Participate in shift handovers, chart reviews, and quality improvement initiatives

$1,800 - $1,958/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
