POSITION: Registered Nurse / Medical Surgical / Ortho
SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING

• Shift hours: 3x12s, days, 645a-715p
*4x12s available by request
*13-52 weeks available by request
• Charting: EPIC experience required
• Weekend Requirement: May be EOW or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
• RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included with the submission.
• Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2-weeks.
• Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday per 13-week contract.
• Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes
• Locals Accepted? Radius Rule: Yes, locals accepted. Refer to the Submittal Instructions for radius rule criteria.
REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

• BLS
• Pending License Accepted: Yes, only if the candidate holds a single-state license from a non-compact state. Otherwise, submission must include an active Virginia State or Compact RN/LPN license.
REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS
========================
• Proficient in Med/Surg care with experience in use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Skilled in peripheral line care/management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration and tanks and isolation precautions
• Charge and precept experience-required
UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING
==========================
• 1:6 ratios (may flex up to 1:7)
• Patient Population: Scheduled ortho hip/knee/shoulder/ankle surgeries, Scheduled ortho spine, fracture repairs ,bone and other infections with surgeries, Other surgeries (choly, appy, colon, thyroid, hysterectomy, mastectomy, prostatectomy with CBI etc) ,Other dx with these above--ARF/dialysis, diabetic management
• Will be required to float within skillset
