Description
Mammography Technologist Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm "Qualifications: AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS license/registration or eligible, and ARRT in
Mammography, minimum of one-year progressive technical experience plus current CPR certification
required. Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Duties: Will be responsible for perfonning mammography and stereotactic breast procedures under the director order of a radiologist. Will greet patients, prepare them for their exam and explain the procedure to be performed. Will position the patient appropriately for the radiographs and use proper exposure factors to obtain high quality radiographs. Additional responsibilities include: maintain quality standards for manunography as required by the 1999 ACR Mammography QA/QC Manual and Hologic Selenia Dimensions QC Manual. Maintain continuing education requirements specified by MQSA, tracking of patient information into the Radiology information system for documentation and billing purposes, and any other tasks that are necessary to maintain quality patient care."

Remede Consulting Group Job ID #Feb26RR-11. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
