- Intensive Care Unit Nurse, Definitive Observation Unit Nurse, Progressive Care Nurse, Telemetry Nurse, Medical Surgical Nurse, Acute Care Nurse, Med Surg/Telemetry Nurse, Float Nurse, Surgical Stepdown Nurse, Stepdown Nurse or Intermediate Care Nurse (2 years)

SCHEDULING DETAILS

• Shift Details: 3x12s, 645p-715a
• Charting: EPIC experience required
• Floating: Staffing needs are Re-evaluated every 4 hours, so traveler could float 2-3 times per shift (up to every 4 hours)
• Weekend Requirement: May be EOW or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
• Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes
• Locals Accepted? Radius Rule: Yes. Refer to the Submittal Instructions for radius rule criteria
• Pending License Accepted: Yes, only if the candidate holds a single-state license from a non-compact state. Otherwise, submission must include an active Virginia State or Compact RN/LPN license
• RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included with the submission
• Call Off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2-weeks
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS
=========================
• IV therapy: arterial line management, central/PICC line care, blood product administration, IV initiation & maintenance
• Respiratory support: BiPAP & CPAP management, ventilated patient care
• Medication administration: continuous IV sedation, emergency meds, titration of cardiac & vasoactive drips
• Wound care: surgical wounds with drains or wound vacs
• Cardiac monitoring: dysrhythmia interpretation & management
• Endocrine/metabolic: IV insulin protocol adherence
• ICU Experience
• Experience at a Large Level 1/2 Facility required.
• Prefer Candidates with 2+ years experience
