Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular ICU | Nights

Seeking an experienced Cardiovascular ICU RN to provide specialized care to critically ill cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery patients.
Position Highlights:
• 12-hour night shifts
• 13-week contract
• CTICU / Cardiothoracic ICU
• 75-mile radius rule
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate
• No call
• Floating required
• Epic EMR
• 6-bed CTICU
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide critical care to cardiovascular and cardiothoracic patients
• Care for fresh heart surgery patients
• Monitor and manage complex critical care conditions
• Provide care for cardiogenic shock, CV surgery, and AAA patients
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow safety standards
Requirements:
✔ 2+ years of ICU experience – REQUIRED
✔ Cardiothoracic/CVICU experience – REQUIRED
✔ Fresh heart experience – REQUIRED
✔ Travel nursing experience – REQUIRED
✔ ACLS, BLS & NIHSS – REQUIRED
✔ Epic experience – REQUIRED
✔ Active RN license – REQUIRED
✔ Must be willing to float as needed
