Job Overview

Northside Hospital Cherokee is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The CT Tech will perform high-quality diagnostic CT imaging while ensuring patient safety, maintaining imaging excellence, and providing compassionate patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities
Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
Prepare, position, and educate patients before imaging procedures.
Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
Administer contrast media in accordance with facility policies and safety standards.
Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond to changes in condition.
Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation safety guidelines.
Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record.
Maintain equipment quality control and comply with infection prevention standards.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
Previous travel experience required
Active ARRT (CT) Certification
Current BLS Certification
Ability to work nights and meet holiday scheduling requirements
