Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift assignment at a rural Critical Access Hospital in Vermont's scenic Northeast Kingdom. This opportunity is ideal for an ER nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The Emergency Department sees more than 15,000 patient visits annually and cares for a diverse patient population. The RN will provide direct patient care, perform comprehensive assessments, evaluate outcomes, coordinate care with providers and specialists, and respond quickly to changing patient conditions to ensure optimal outcomes.

Schedule:
• Night Shift – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• 36 Guaranteed Hours
• Must be able to cover mid-shifts as needed
• Holiday coverage required
• 13-Week Assignment

Requirements:
• Active Vermont RN License or Compact RN License
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• Current PALS Certification
• TNCC Preferred
• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Meditech experience preferred or ability to learn quickly

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
