Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse positions are available in Middlebury, Vermont. These assignments are for 16 weeks, starting on June 22, 2026. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The roles involve working nights with a minimum of 36 hours per week in a dynamic emergency department setting.
Job Details:
- Location: Middlebury, Vermont

- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Monday to Sunday, with no block schedules; bi-weekly orientations on Monday; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Education/Experience: Minimum of 2 years of in-unit experience in emergency nursing required; previous travel experience preferred, with at least one prior assignment; charge nurse experience required; EPIC electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years mandatory
- Location Requirements: Must have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle strongly recommended, with all-season or snow tires during November through April
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Charge nurse experience and recent EPIC EMR experience are highly preferred
- Additional Information:
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
- Complete work history details (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) are required for submission
- No block schedules; schedule must be flexible for holidays and weekend shifts
- Public transportation is NOT accessible in this area
