📍 Viroqua, WI | 🗓️ 12 Weeks | ⏱️ 36 hrs/week | 🌙 Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a rural 24-bed Critical Access Hospital. Candidates with strong Orthopedic, Cardiac, Pediatric, Telemetry, and Epic experience are preferred.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical/Surgical patients
Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition
Care for adult and pediatric patients across a variety of diagnoses
Provide orthopedic, cardiac, and telemetry nursing care as needed
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic EMR
Promote patient safety and provide education to patients and families

Requirements:

Active Wisconsin RN License
Minimum 5 years of experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Medical/Surgical nursing experience
Experience with Ortho, Cardiac, Pediatrics, and Telemetry preferred
Epic experience preferred

Assignment Details:

12-week contract
36 hours per week
12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Every weekend required
Holiday coverage required
No on-call
24-bed Critical Access Hospital
