Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical / Orthopedics

Mount Nittany Health | State College, PA | Nov 2, 2026, | 13 Weeks | Night Shift

Seeking an experienced Med-Surg RN for a 13-week contract assignment at Mount Nittany Health.

Position Highlights:

6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
36 hours/week guaranteed
EMR: Epic
Every other weekend required
Holiday coverage required
No on call

Requirements:

✔ Minimum 2 years of previous RN experience required
✔ Medical-Surgical and/or Orthopedics nursing experience
✔ Active Pennsylvania RN license required
✔ Current American Heart Association BLS/BCLS certification
✔ Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
✔ Ability to provide professional nursing care using the nursing process
✔ Must demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effective patient assessment skills

Patterns Hiring Job ID #300887-1013. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
