Seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse for an acute inpatient behavioral health facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working with child and adolescent psychiatric patients and thrive in a collaborative behavioral health environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to child and adolescent behavioral health patients
Complete patient assessments, medication administration, and ongoing monitoring
Respond to psychiatric emergencies and support crisis intervention
Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team
Maintain accurate documentation and individualized care plans
Promote a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and families

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of Psychiatric RN experience
Active RN License
Experience with child and adolescent behavioral health preferred
Strong communication, assessment, and crisis intervention skills

Assignment Details:

13-week assignment
32–40 hours per week
8-hour evening shifts
Every other weekend required
Acute inpatient behavioral health setting
Adult and pediatric behavioral health population (primary need is Child & Adolescent Unit)
