Seeking a highly reliable Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a very small community hospital pediatric unit (census max 3). This role requires strong pediatric experience and the ability to provide safe, independent care in a low-support setting with backup from nearby staff as needed.

📌 Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to pediatric and adolescent patients
Maintain patient ratio of 1:3 in a 3-bed unit
Support family-centered care including rooming-in and education
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory and IV therapy
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care
📌 Requirements
Active RN license
3+ years current Pediatric experience (required)
Adult Med-Surg experience (preferred for floating)
Meditech Expanse experience (strongly preferred)
BSN preferred
Must have own vehicle
Permanent address required (no local candidates within 50 miles)
Must be reachable with voicemail set up

VERY strict attendance policy (call-outs not permitted)
Max 3 days RTO total (must be pre-approved at submission; no changes allowed after upload)
Only one holiday off allowed
No block scheduling
Small unit coverage—failure to report may impact patient care

This assignment is best suited for dependable pediatric travel nurses comfortable working independently in a very small, low-census unit.
