Job Description
Key Responsibilities of a CT Tech:
Patient Care: Preparing patients for exams, explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, taking medical histories, and monitoring patients during the scan.
Imaging Operation: Setting up and operating CT scanners, maneuvering equipment, and adjusting technical parameters for optimal image quality
Contrast Administration: Administering contrast dye intravenously or orally, which highlights specific body areas for better visualization.
Safety Compliance: Following strict radiation safety protocols, such as using shielding devices to protect patients and themselves.
Collaboration: Working closely with radiologists to confirm images are satisfactory and assisting in emergency situations, such as trauma cases
Shift Times: 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM
