📍 North Adams, MA | 🗓️ 13 Weeks | 🏥 CT / X-Ray Technologist – Varied Shifts

Berkshire Health System is seeking an experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week assignment in North Adams, Massachusetts. This position is primarily focused on CT imaging, but candidates must also have strong Diagnostic X-Ray experience and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The technologist will perform CT and Radiology procedures, including IV starts and contrast administration, while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Candidates must be flexible and willing to assist with other departmental duties during low census periods.

Schedule:

Tuesday & Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday & Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
32 guaranteed hours
Optional 4-hour shift every Monday to reach 36 hours
Holiday coverage as needed
On-call requirements TBD

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of current CT/X-Ray experience
ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
Massachusetts Radiology License (or application in process)
Current AHA BLS certification
Previous travel experience preferred
Agency travel experience required (first-time travelers will not be considered)
Must have personal vehicle for assignment
Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred

Responsibilities:

Perform CT and Diagnostic X-Ray procedures
Start IVs and administer contrast media
Operate CT, DR, CR, PACS, RIS, and HIS systems
Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and infection control compliance
Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
Assist with additional departmental duties as needed
