Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week guaranteed
Weekend/Holiday: Rotating
Call: Possible

Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a Birthing Center setting. The RN will provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, newborns, and postpartum mothers while collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care using critical thinking and independent judgment.
Perform all phases of the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Care for patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum.
Provide newborn care at delivery.
Monitor and care for postpartum mothers and babies.
Manage patients receiving Pitocin induction and magnesium sulfate.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Supervise and coordinate nursing care team members.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare disciplines.
Requirements
2+ years of current Birthing Center/L&D experience required.
Experience with laboring patients, delivery, newborn care at delivery, and postpartum care for mothers and babies.
Active Michigan (MI) RN license required at submission.
LARA must show an active Michigan/MI license.
AHA BLS required.
NRP required.
Skills checklist completed within the past year.
Two supervisory references completed within the last 2 years.
Previous travel experience preferred.

Traveler must have a permanent address listed in their profile.
Traveler must have their own vehicle.
All requested time off must be disclosed at submission.
Maximum of 5 days RTO accepted.
Scheduling requests submitted after upload/interview may not be approved.
