Travel Social Worker (LMSW) – Behavioral Health
Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: November 16, 2026
Shift: Afternoons, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Hours: 32 hours per week guaranteed
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and holidays as needed
On-Call: None

Job Overview
Berkshire Medical Center is seeking an experienced Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) for a 13-week contract in its Behavioral Health department. The ideal candidate will have a strong psychiatric background and experience working with pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in a hospital setting.

Requirements
Master's degree in Social Work.
Active Massachusetts social work license in hand at submission.
Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric experience.
Experience with pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
CPI certification.
Previous emergency department (ED) experience highly preferred.
Reliable transportation and personal vehicle required.
Permanent address must be included in the candidate profile.

Schedule and Holiday Requirements
Afternoon shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.
32 guaranteed hours per week.
Every other weekend and holidays as needed.
Candidates must be willing to work at least two designated holiday blocks if scheduled or needed:
Thanksgiving Day, the following Friday, and the weekend after.
Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after.
New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the weekend after.

Patterns Hiring Job ID #69325-1021. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 32.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
