Respiratory Therapist | RRT

Seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment providing respiratory care across pediatric through geriatric populations in a critical access hospital.

Position Highlights:

• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• 36 hours guaranteed
• Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• No call
• Cerner EMR
• Business casual or personal scrubs
• Pediatric through geriatric patient population
• Own vehicle required

Key Duties:

• Provide independent respiratory care using invasive and non-invasive ventilation
• Manage vents, PAP modalities, and high-flow oxygen
• Perform ABGs and airway management
• Assist with intubations
• Perform PFTs
• Operate respiratory equipment for diagnosis and treatment
• Support patients across various care areas and acuity levels

Requirements:

✔ 2+ years of current RRT experience
✔ RRT certification through NBRC
✔ Vermont RRT license
✔ BLS (AHA)
✔ Cerner experience
✔ Ability to independently manage vents, PAP modalities, high-flow O2, and ABGs
✔ Willingness to learn home sleep testing and Pulmonary Rehab
✔ At least 6 months of travel experience highly preferred
✔ CRTs will not be considered
✔ All requested time off must be provided at submission; maximum 5 days of RTO accepted
