Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Stepdown | Night Shift
Location: Petoskey, MI | Nov 2, 2026 – Feb 1, 2027 | 13 Weeks | Nights
Seeking an experienced Stepdown RN for McLaren Northern Michigan’s Cardiovascular Unit/Progressive Care Unit, caring for cardiac, post-operative, and medically complex adult patients.
Highlights:
• 12-hour shifts | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• 36 hrs/week guaranteed
• Every other weekend
• Possible on-call requirement
• Must be willing to float to similar units
• Cardiac-focused Stepdown/Progressive Care environment
• EKG monitoring and cardiac care
• Quick Start
• Strict 3-strike attendance policy
Requirements:
✔ 1+ year of Stepdown experience – REQUIRED
✔ Cardiac experience/proficiency – REQUIRED
✔ Previous travel nursing experience – REQUIRED
✔ EKG comfortability – REQUIRED
✔ Willingness to float to similar units – REQUIRED
✔ Active Michigan RN license – REQUIRED
✔ BLS – REQUIRED
✔ ACLS – REQUIRED
✔ Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills

Patterns Hiring Job ID #71674-1005. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
