Description
MVHS Wynn Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a busy, high-acuity ED caring for patients across all age groups including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
The ED RN will provide care for a wide range of emergency conditions including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Candidates should be confident in fast-paced emergency settings and experienced with advanced emergency care equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun systems.
Schedule is 6:30p–7a, 36 hours weekly. Floating may be required, and charge capability is highly preferred. Block scheduling is not guaranteed.
Requirements:
Active NY RN License
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
TNCC must be active at submission
Minimum 2+ years recent ED experience with some pediatric experience
Prior travel experience required
Experience with EPIC EMR required
Unit Details:
64-bed Emergency Department
40 acute beds, 2 trauma rooms, 10 CDU beds, 6 psych beds, and triage/super track areas
Navy blue scrubs required
July 13th start date
