Registered Nurse – Ambulatory | Days

Somerville, MA | 13 Weeks | 40 hrs/week | Days

Seeking an experienced Ambulatory RN to support a busy Department of Surgery. This opportunity is ideal for an RN with strong outpatient, clinic, primary care, or ambulatory experience.

Position Details
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Schedule: 5x8s
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week
Local candidates: Accepted within 50 miles
Holiday: Every other major holiday
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients in an ambulatory surgical setting
Assess patients and coordinate appropriate care
Support providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Assist with patient education and follow-up
Provide safe, patient-centered care for patients age 5 and older
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of ambulatory experience
Outpatient, clinic, or primary care experience may be considered
EPIC experience required
Active Massachusetts RN license
Current AHA BLS
2 recent Charge RN/Manager/Supervisor references
Flu vaccination required during flu season
Travel experience preferred; first-time travelers may be considered
RTO must be provided at submission
