Seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a busy acute care Respiratory Care team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, providing comprehensive respiratory care across a variety of patient populations, and adapting to rotating shifts.

Responsibilities:

Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, airway management, and ventilator support
Perform respiratory assessments and respond to emergency situations as needed
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes
Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatment plans per physician orders
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
Ensure compliance with departmental policies, infection control, and patient safety standards

Requirements:

Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC
Current AHA BLS certification
NRP certification required
Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience
Acute care experience required
Epic EMR experience preferred
Ability to work independently

Assignment Details:

13-week assignment
40 hours per week
Rotating 8-hour and 10-hour shifts
1:45 PM – 10:15 PM
6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Every other major holiday required
No on-call listed
Local and travel candidates accepted (50-mile radius)
Patterns Hiring Job ID #NANC-0698. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
