Travel RN – Labor & Delivery | Sylmar, CA

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week travel assignment at Olive View - UCLA Medical Center in Sylmar, CA. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to women at various stages of pregnancy and labor in a dynamic, high-quality clinical environment.

• Position: Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
• Location: Sylmar, CA (Olive View - UCLA Medical Center)
• Shift: 3x12 Days (36 hours/week)
• Duration: 8-week assignment
• Weekly Pay Range: $1,901.88 – $2,237.50 / week (Pre-tax)
• Expected Start Date: June 29, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, triage area, and operating suites.
• Assist and care for patients delivering via C-section, as well as those undergoing D&E, D&C, and tubal ligations.
• Monitor and manage patients in a three-bed recovery area.
• Maintain flexibility to float to the Mother-Baby Unit as needed.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of recent acute care experience as an L&D RN.
• Certifications: Active California RN License, AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring, and MAB or CPI.
• Special Requirement: Must hold an active LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City issued).
• Compliance: Complete commitment to the full 8-week contract and completion of the LA County Employee Health Clearance prior to the assignment start date.
