Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED) | Torrance, CA

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week travel assignment in Torrance, CA! Candidates must be prepared to deliver immediate, life-saving care to critically injured patients with complex trauma in a fast-paced metropolitan setting. Interviews are being conducted ASAP.

Position Overview

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED)
• Location: Torrance, CA
• Shift / Hours: 3x12 Days and Nights
• Assignment Duration: 8 Weeks
• Pay Range: $2,071.88 – $2,437.50 per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate, life-saving care to critically injured patients with complex trauma, often managing multiple high-acuity cases simultaneously.
• Demonstrate advanced clinical skills, quick decision-making, and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma ER environment.
• Perform diagnostic and clinical nursing interventions in alignment with facility standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Level 1 Trauma ER experience in a metropolitan facility with a diverse patient population.
• Licensure: Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Certifications Required:
  • AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • NIHSS
  • MAB or CPI
  • LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City certified)
• Clearance: Completion of the LA County Employee Health Clearance and Live Scan fingerprinting prior to assignment start.
