**Required Experience, Licenses, and Certifications:** - **Licenses:** Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist - Nuclear (RT-N) - **Certifications:** BLS from AHA only - **Years of Experience:** 1+ years in a hospital-based setting - **Education:** Graduation from a formal Nuclear Medicine training program; Bachelor's degree **Preferred Experience:** - **Skillset/Experience:** Experience with PET is preferred **Skills and Qualifications:** - **Communication:** Excellent communicator in written and verbal format - **Teamwork:** Strong team player - **Safety and Risk Management:** Ability to handle complex situations, observe patients before, during, and after procedures, utilize mobilization devices, and transfer patients appropriately - **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in operating equipment, performing radiation safety and quality control, handling radioactive materials, conducting exams and data processing, and operating hospital and department computer systems - **Coordination and Flexibility:** Ability to schedule, alter procedures, and adjust personal schedules as needed - **Other Skills:** Demonstrates understanding of emergency procedures and meets annual competency requirements, performs all procedures according to protocol, communicates relevant information effectively, and maintains alignment with PTO policy.
