Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a ICU RN to take an assignment in Odessa, Texas.
This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on May 5, 2026.

**Critical Care RN Job Requirements & Qualifications:** - **Certifications Required:** - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Basic Life Support (BLS) - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) - **Education & Courses Required:** - 6 hours total of Stroke education (can be provided if needed) - EKG course completion (can be provided if needed) - **Experience:** - Previous charge experience not specified - 2 years of experience required - Trauma Level II experience preferred - Community hospital experience preferred - Travel experience required - Patient ratio experience: 2-3 - Experience with Cerner charting system required; preferred experience with Cerner - **Skills & Experience:** - Neuro Intensive Care Unit - Surgical Intensive Care Unit - FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring - Post Cardiac Surgery (not directly from the OR) - Sheath removal - Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) - Phlebotomy - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention - IV insulin protocols - GI surgery - Chronic/Acute Renal failure management - Arterial line management - Blood Product Administration - Central line and PICC line management - Starting and maintaining IVs - Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade - Continuous IV sedation - Administration and monitoring of emergency and procedural sedation medications - Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips - CVA/Acute Stroke management - External ventricular drain (EVD) management - Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun - ICP monitoring - Lumbar drains - Post Craniotomy and Post Neurosurgery management - Spinal cord injury and Traumatic Brain injury management - Management of BiPAP/CPAP - Assist with chest tube insertion/removal - Care of ventilated patients - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) management - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Suctioning (ETT, NT) - Ventilator Management - Infection Prevention and Isolation Precautions/PPE - Surgical wounds with drains/Wound Vac - **Additional Details:** - Willingness to float MS/Tele, ER for CC holds required - Weekend coverage true - Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics - **Submittal Details:** - Resume required - 1 year experience in profession required - Local Radius: 50 miles - Local Rule: Not accepted - RTO required with submission - Document deadlines specified: Hard deadline is Tuesday 4:30 pm CST prior to start. **Immunization Requirements:** - COVID-19 Vaccine: Not Required - Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
