Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Kansas City, Missouri.
This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on April 27, 2026.

**Required Experience:** - 1 to 2 years of Telemetry Experience - 2 years of recent specialty experience required, with a full year of in-specialty experience within the past 12 months **Preferred Experience:** - Previous Charge Experience - Trauma Level I Experience **Certifications:** - BLS - NIHSS **Skills Required:** - Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams - Endocrine/Metabolic: IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin Drips - Gastrointestinal: Feeding tube care and management - Genitourinary/Renal: Continuous Bladder Irrigation, IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs - MEDICATIONS: Heparin Protocols, PCA - Neurological/Psychiatric: CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) - Respiratory: Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank - Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac **Skills Preferred:** - Genitourinary/Renal: Renal Failure - Orthopedics: Ortho trauma, Total Joint Replacements - Plastics: Surgical drains - Respiratory: Tracheostomy Management **Charting System Experience:** - Epic **Other Qualifications:** - Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed - Two references required: one supervisor level or above, the second can be a charge RN, all from the past year **Licensure:** - Must have both Kansas and Missouri or compact in hand at the time of submission **Additional Requirements:** - No first-timers accepted - No pending licenses accepted - Travel experience required - No travel partners accepted
