Summary:

Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri.


This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on May 4, 2026.

**Experience Requirements:** - 2 years of experience required - Must have experience in vents, titration of pressors, insulin drips, trach vents, art lines, external pacemakers, chest tubes. - Must have been at the bedside within the last 6 months. - Travel experience required - Previous charge experience preferred - Trauma Level II experience required - EPIC charting system experience preferred **Certifications Required:** - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) **Skills Required:** - Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry - PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience - Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias - Use of Rapid Response/Code teams - Pacemakers/Temporary/Permanent - Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI - Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, TR Band - IV insulin protocols, Feeding tube care and management - Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management - Renal failure, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration - Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management - PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs - Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips (no titration), Manage Vasoactive drips (no titration) - PCA, Thrombolytic Agents, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips - CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Lumbar drains, Pre/Post neurosurgery - Seizure disorders, Spinal cord injury, Substance Withdrawal - Traumatic Brain injury, Ortho trauma, Total joint replacement - Skin grafts, Surgical drains, Care of Ventilated Patient - Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration - Oxygen tanks, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy care/management - Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac - Titrating vasopressors (HARDSTOP) **Licensure Requirements:** - Valid State License at time of submission - Compact license requirements apply depending on state residency **Additional Requirements:** - No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius - Two supervisory references within the last two years required at submission for Barnes-Jewish West County - All nurses except those in Behavioral Health, Case Manager & Outpatient must obtain ACLS by compliance deadline - EPIC experience required for certain units - Hardstop for special procedures: Titration of vasopressors, sedation medication, art lines, chest tubes, trach vented patients **Compliance & Submittal Details:** - Compliance deadline is 3pm CST on the Monday of the week before initial start date - Must adhere to facial hair and fit testing requirements - Required documentation and SSN submission at time of application - License must match the state of permanent residence for compact states users
