- **Years of Experience Required**: 18 months - **Previous Charge Experience**: Preferred - **Certifications Required**: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS (preferred) - **Licensure**: Must obtain IN, compact, and/or temp license prior to start; license must be in hand before start date - **Skills**: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, post cardiac surgery care, arterial line management, blood production administration, central line care/management, PICC line management, titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips - **Additional Preferred Skills**: Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, pre/post cardiac cath/intervention, sheath removal, ventricular assist devices (LVAD/RVAD/Impella), care of ventilated patients, ventilator management - **Patient Ratios**: 1:5 - **Charting System Experience**: Cerner required - **Charting System Name**: Cerner - **Patient Ratio Experience**: 4-5 - **Travelers University Accreditation**: Must be accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation - **Supervisor References Required**: 2 - **Certification List**: Pacemakers/Temporary/Permanent*, Post MI*, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery*, TR Band*, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management*, Renal failure*, Phlebotomy*, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration*, PCA*, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring*, Substance Withdrawal*, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac*, Tracheostomy care/management*, Wound Care/Wound Vac*, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Post Cardiac Angiogram, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, IV insulin protocols, Feeding tube care and management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions/PPE
