Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Kansas City, Missouri.
This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on May 11, 2026.

Years of experience required: 2 years of recent specialty experience Certifications required: BLS, NIHSS, Compact License Skills required: MS/Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Feeding tube care and management, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Epidural analgesia, PCA, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Bariatric surgery, TURP Specialty Experience: Must have a full year of in-specialty experience within the past 12 months with no gap in employment greater than 90 days in the past year Patients primary pain control post-operatively: Epidural, PCA, Ketamine drip, and/or lidocaine infusion Licensure requirements: Compact License or both Kansas and Missouri licenses at the time of submission Travel experience required: Yes Charting System Experience required: Epic Floating requirements: Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed Local candidate restrictions: Locals not accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility Pending license accepted: Yes Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period, combination of Friday/Saturday/Sunday Special procedures/unit details: Experience required with bariatric surgery, urology cases, hepatobiliary, colorectal, and trauma patients with an emphasis on post-operative care Reference requirements: 2 references required; one from a supervisor level or above, the other can be a charge RN Tenure policy for travel roles: 18 months with a 3-month break in service required Additional requirements: Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing; EPIC and infusion pump training must be completed prior to start date; no travel partners accepted; and maximum of 7 days request time off.
