**Certifications Required:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) **Skills Required:** - FM - Intermediate/Advanced - Telemetry - IV Start - Management and maintenance of BiPAP/CPAP - Blood Product Administration - Cardiac Telemetry - Central line care/management - Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac - CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) - Feeding tube care and management - Heparin Protocols - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Isolation Precautions/PPE - IV insulin protocols - Management of dysrhythmias - MS/Tele* - Nasal Cannula - Non-invasive airway management - Oxygen administration - Peripheral Line Care/Management - PICC line management - Post Cardiac Angiogram - Pre/Post Cardiac Cath - Renal failure* - Starting and maintaining IVs - Titrate Cardiac drips* - Titrate Vasoactive drips* - Titration of Insulin drips* - Use of Rapid Response/Code teams - Wound Care/Wound Vac **Experience Required:** - Minimum 3+ years recent Stepdown experience - 1 year of overall experience required - 3+ years required for CPU - Previous travel experience preferred - Charting System Experience: Cerner **Leadership Experience:** - Previous Charge Experience: Preferred **Licensure:** - Must have active licensure; will not hire without a license - If license is pending, must have proof that process is underway to be considered **Other Requirements:** - Royal Blue scrubs required (not provided) - A copy of the Driver's License and updated Nurseys must be included in the submission for verification of residence - Residence within 31-50 miles of facility qualify for local rate; travelers living less than 30 miles from the facility are not accepted **Modules:** - Up to 8 hours of non-billable modules required pre-start, recorded through HealthStream
