Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a Interventional Radiology Tech Radiology to take an assignment in Lafayette, Indiana.

**Required Experience and Certifications:** 1. **Certifications:** - ARRT(R) - BLS 2. **Experience:** - 18 months of experience required (exceptions may apply depending on the unit). 3. **Licensure:** - Requires current Indiana State Department of Health license in Radiology Technologist. - License must be in hand prior to start date. Temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications have been submitted. 4. **Special Requirements:** - Knowledge of sterile technique and supplies used during special exams. - Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of patient does not permit routine positioning. 5. **Skills:** - Performs diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures. - Treats patients with care. - May be required to scrub into procedures as needed. - Potentially required to obtain advance credential in interventional radiology, if applicable. **Additional Skills and Experience Preferred:** - Experience with the charting system Cerner. **Travel Compliance and Other Requirements:** - University must be accredited by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation. - SSN and DOB required at time of submittal. - 2 supervisor references required. - Floating is required within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. **Special Notes:** - 10 on-call shifts per month required including weekends. - Weekend on-call required every 3rd or 4th weekend. - Candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. - IU Health will not accept IN RN candidates except for specific departments after 11/30/24. Periop/OR RN’s, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. - Not accepted for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, and ER positions if local residents.
