The job description specifies the following required or preferred credentials, certifications, licenses, and tests for the Adult and Pediatric Burn Trauma Surgical ICU RN position: 1. **Licenses and Certifications:** - Nursys license - License/Certificate Verification 2. **Skill Set Requirements:** - Invasive hemodynamic monitoring (at least hourly) - IV drip titration - Nurse-driven burn fluid resuscitation following Parkland formula - Ventilator management - Continuous venovenous hemofiltration (CVVH) - Hourly pulse and flap doppler checks - Initial debridement and dressing changes - Conscious sedation - Surgical recovery - Epidural pump management 3. **Health and Personal Credentials:** - MMR - Fit Test - Hepatitis B - Health Statement - 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) - Varicella - Tdap - Influenza Vaccine (optional) 4. **Professional and Onboarding Requirements:** - Ascension Pharmacology Exam - Ascension Specialty Exam - Ascension Core Competencies - Ascension EKG Exam - Education Attestation - Badge Photo - Driver's License/State ID - Ascension Profile - 2 Professional References - Criminal Background Check - Employment Verification - Education Verification - 12 Panel Drug Screen - Confirmation of Assignment 5. **Optional Submissions:** - Influenza Vaccine Exemption/Declination - Positive PPD-Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire - Ascension Unit Specific Checklist (optional) - Name Change Document (optional) These requirements ensure that candidates are thoroughly vetted and possess the necessary skills and certifications to provide high-quality care to burn trauma patients in both adult and pediatric settings.
