Job Details:

**Required Experience and Licensure:** - Minimum of 1 year of experience as an occupational therapist. - Current occupational therapy license in the state of Arizona. - BLS (American Heart Association) certification. **Preferred Experience and Skills:** - Generalist confident in addressing medical diagnoses. - Ability to manage moderate to maximum assistance patients and conduct co-treatments. - Experience working with ventilated patients. - Ability to pivot and take on additional evaluations throughout the day. **Special Requirements:** - A weekend day will be required for work. - Travelers must have an Arizona license in hand before starting. - Arizona OT license application requires a fingerprint clearance card, with an estimated total processing time of 7-12 weeks. **Patient and Facility Information:** - The average daily census is 14-16 patients. - The facility operates as a short-term acute care and teaching hospital with a Level IV trauma designation. **Additional Requirements:** - Professional references: Two required, one from the most recent employer within 1 year of start, and a second reference checked within two years. - Charting experience preferred, with Cerner being the most common system used. - Completion of required modules during the first week of orientation. Candidates must have the capability to float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby and be comfortable with the absence of restrictions or special requests.
