Summary:

Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a CVICU RN to take an assignment in Peoria, Illinois.

This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on August 17, 2026.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12H Days
• Total Weekly Hours: 36
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, CCRN or PCCN a plus, BLS (AHA)

**Required Experience and Skills:** - Must have a CVICU or Cardiac ICU background. - At least 2 solid years of CVICU experience (more preferred). - Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, communication, organization, and teamwork. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. - Must be able to interpret EKG strips. - Experience with titrating multiple drips (e.g., dopamine, dobutamine, levophed). - Ability to float to the ICU if needed. **Leadership:** - Charge nurses and house supervisors are present 24/7 and may take patient assignments. **Certifications and Licensure:** - Active Illinois (IL) nursing license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated. - Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA). - Preferred Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and CCRN or PCCN. **Education:** - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is not required. **Other Requirements:** - Must be able to work every other to every third weekend. - Negative drug screening required for all panels. - IL active license to submit.
