- Years of experience: Minimum 2 years' experience required - First-timers accepted: Yes - Certifications required: ARRT, ARRT-CT, BLS, and State license - Active IL state license required (or must be in application process with ETA) - Required Work Setting Experience: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ICU, Emergency Department, Level I Trauma - Required Abdomen and Pelvis CT Skills/Experience: Abdomen without and/or with contrast, Pelvis without and/or with contrast - Required Chest CT Skills/Experience: Chest without and/or with contrast, Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta) - Required Head and Neck CT Skills/Experience: Carotid, Head without and/or with contrast, Sinuses, Soft tissue neck, Trauma head - Required Image Display and Post Processing Skills/Experience: 3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering), Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), Region of interest measurement (ROI) - Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Radiation Safety, Starting Peripheral IVs, Venipuncture - Required Special Procedure Skills/Experience: Coronary CTA - Required Spine and Musculoskeletal CT Skills/Experience: Cervical, Lumbar, Musculoskeletal trauma, Thoracic - Trauma Level I Experience: Preferred - Charting System Experience: Preferred - Charting System Name: Cerner - Skills: 3D rendering, Abdomen without and/or with contrast, Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Head without and/or with contrast, Chest without and/or with contrast, ICU, Level I Trauma, Lumbar, Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), Musculoskeletal trauma, Pelvis without and/or with contrast, Radiation Safety, Region of interest measurement (ROI), Starting Peripheral IVs, Venipuncture - Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics - Required certifications: AHA and Red Cross certifications accepted (RQI cards not accepted) - Illinois license must be active and in hand at time of submission unless otherwise noted in the job description
