- 2 yrs experience required, travel experience required. - BLS, ACLS, NIH, and CPI required; MAB is accepted in lieu of CPI. - Must be comfortable with the prison population. - Previous Charge Experience: Preferred - Charting System Experience: Required - Community Hospital Experience: Preferred - Travel Experience Required: Yes - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS - Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Administration of chemotherapy, Arterial line management, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care/management, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Continuous IV sedation, CVA/Acute Stroke management, GI surgery, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Infection Prevention, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Starting and maintaining IVs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Ventilator Management - Must have experience assisting with bedside procedures. - Valid TN state license or compact multi-state license required at time of submission. - Current Nursys report required; license must be active. No pending licenses accepted. - All certifications must be included in the submission packet; some roles may allow pending certifications if they can be obtained prior to start. - COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only - Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only Additional Notes: - Will not approve RTO for Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day. Contract nurses expected to work 3 of these 6 holidays. Can arrange schedule swaps. - Orientation Hours: 12 - Modules: Generally up to 2 hours to complete; completed pre-start. - Facility enforces a strict no-call policy.
