**Education and Experience:** - Completion of a JRCERT approved radiological training program or equivalent, required **Certifications and Licensure:** - Current registration by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required - R.T. - C.T., or willingness to obtain C.T. accreditation - Current Iowa Radiologic Technologist Permit to Practice, required - BLS required **Skills and Abilities:** - Ability to maintain safe and effective patient care - Strong written and verbal communications skills with a prevalent professional demeanor - Ability to use active listening skills to interpret the needs of the patient - Ability to mentor, train, motivate, direct, and empower the team - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation - Ability to work independently - Flexibility in schedule, willing to adjust hours as needed, and willing to cover other shifts - Highly motivated - Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and regulated environment - Able to triage situations to complete tasks - Effective time management - Analytical skills to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner - Exhibit sound and accurate judgment - Team player/professional attitude - Demonstrates ability to learn and apply new approaches - Maintain professional technical knowledge
