**Position / Specialty: CT Tech** **Shift**: 3rd shift/nights 3 12s 1830-0700, weekends as needed, no call required **Years of Experience Required**: Minimum 2 years' experience required **First-timers accepted**: Yes **Certifications Required**: - ARRT - ARRT-CT - BLS - Active IL state license (or must be in application process with ETA) **Special Requirements**: **Required Work Setting Experience**: - Adult Acute Care - Adult Outpatient - ICU - Emergency Department - Level I Trauma **Required CT Skills/Experience**: - Abdomen and Pelvis CT Skills: Abdomen without and/or with contrast, Pelvis without and/or with contrast. - Chest CT Skills: Chest without and/or with contrast, Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta). - Head and Neck CT Skills: Carotid, Head without and/or with contrast, Sinuses, Soft tissue neck, Trauma head. - Image Display and Post Processing Skills: 3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering), Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), Region of interest measurement (ROI). **Required Professional Knowledge and Skills**: - Isolation Precautions - Preparation and/or administration of contrast media - Radiation Safety - Starting Peripheral IVs - Venipuncture **Required Special Procedure Skills/Experience**: Coronary CTA **Required Spine and Musculoskeletal CT Skills/Experience**: - Cervical - Lumbar - Musculoskeletal trauma - Thoracic **Hospital Type**: Acute Care Hospital - Level I trauma center. Magnet hospital/facility. **Charting System**: Cerner (Preferred) **Patient Age Groups**: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics **COVID-19 Vaccine**: Not Required **Flu Vaccine**: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only **Travel Experience**: Not Required **Trauma Level I Experience**: Preferred **Application Details**: - Illinois license must be active and in hand at time of submission unless otherwise noted. - AHA and Red Cross certifications accepted. - Up to 5 non-holiday RTO days may be auto-approved. - Candidate must work 2 of the 3 major holidays.
