Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Kansas City, Missouri.
This assignment lasts 13.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on November 9, 2026.

**Qualifications and Experience Required:** - **Years of Experience:** 2 years required - **First-timers Accepted:** Yes - **Certifications Required:** BLS, ACLS, NIH - **Skills Required:** - PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Use of Rapid Response Teams - Pacemakers (temporary and permanent) - Pre/Post Cardiac Cath and Surgery - TAVR, TR Band - Titration of Insulin drips - Feeding tube care and management - Blood Product Administration - Central and Peripheral Line Care/Management - PICC line management - Starting IVs - Heparin Protocols - Management of Cardiac drips (including titration) - Vasoactive drips titration - Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac - Non-invasive airway management - Tracheostomy and Wound Care/Wound Vac management - High Flow Nasal Cannula - Continuous Bladder Irrigation - Thrombolytic Agents - Post Myocardial Infarction and Hemodialysis Management **Leadership Experience:** - Previous Charge Experience is not explicitly required. **Clinical Experience Preferences:** - Trauma Level I Experience is preferred. - Experience in PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown is necessary. **Additional Details:** - Clinician might have to float within scope to meet facility needs. - No on-call is required, but holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments are possible. - Block schedule accommodations are not available. - Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are not accepted, except for certain lower-level roles (e.g., Patient Care Technicians, CNAs, MAs). - Pending licenses are not accepted. - Compliance requirements include completing pre-start modules related to EPIC training prior to commencement. **Additional Skills and Equipment Familiarity:** - Blood Product Administration (PRBC, FFP, Plts) - Central Venous Access (Cordis, TLC, CVAD, PICC) - Multiple IV drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Insulin, Lasix, Triple Antibiotic therapy) - Wound vacs, telemetry - Tracheostomy care and epidural/ PCA pain management This position operates within a tertiary care hospital noted as a 5-time Magnet Award Winner and requires potential float between departments and facilities based on need.
