Travel Nursing Job Details

• Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment
• Location: Michigan City, Indiana 46360
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Start Date: November 17, 2025
• End Date: February 16, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Shift: Monday–Friday, days; 12-hour shifts with variable start times
• On-Call: 8-10 call shifts per 4-week schedule, including weekends
• Unit: Cardiac Catheterization Lab (2 labs, 1:1 patient ratio)
• Equipment: Xper, Philips, Balloon Pump, Impella
• EMR: Epic Cupid
• Dress Code: Light Blue Surgical Scrubs (Hospital Issued)

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Indiana or compact state
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• FH EKG exam (to be completed prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience required
• Proficiency in sedation and circulation within a Cath Lab environment
• Preferred: Experience with recording in Cath Lab procedures
• Strong communication skills; self-motivated team player

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a Cath Lab setting, including cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor and manage patients during cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Administer sedation and demonstrate circulation competency in the Cath Lab
• Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment (Xper, Philips, Balloon Pump, Impella)
• Accurately document patient care and procedures in Epic Cupid EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends as scheduled
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members
