Massachusetts Nursing Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 18, 2025
- End Date: February 16, 2026
- Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit
- Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- On-Call: Optional (must live within 30 minutes of hospital if volunteering for on-call)
- Orientation Dates: 11/25/2025, 12/9/2025
Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,450 - $2,620
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Labor & Delivery RN
- Experience in hospitals with 1,000+ annual deliveries and high-risk labor & delivery cases
- Active and valid Registered Nurse license (RN license)
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications required
- Ability to circulate during deliveries (scrub experience is a plus)
- Willingness to work every other weekend (EOW)
L&D RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-volume, high-risk Labor & Delivery Unit
- Circulate during deliveries; scrub role available for experienced candidates
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring technology
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process
