Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Travel Nursing Job – Lawrence, Massachusetts

Massachusetts Nursing Job Details

Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: November 18, 2025
End Date: February 16, 2026
Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit
Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
On-Call: Optional (must live within 30 minutes of hospital if volunteering for on-call)
Orientation Dates: 11/25/2025, 12/9/2025

Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,450 - $2,620

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Labor & Delivery RN
Experience in hospitals with 1,000+ annual deliveries and high-risk labor & delivery cases
Active and valid Registered Nurse license (RN license)
BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications required
Ability to circulate during deliveries (scrub experience is a plus)
Willingness to work every other weekend (EOW)

L&D RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-volume, high-risk Labor & Delivery Unit
Circulate during deliveries; scrub role available for experienced candidates
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring technology
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards
Educate and support patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process
