ER RN Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Boston, MA 02114 (Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
Setting: Emergency Department (ED)
Job Type: Travel Nursing Contract
Start Date: January 11, 2026
End Date: April 11, 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Weekly Hours: 36 or 48 hours
Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays required
Openings: 2 Emergency Room RN positions available
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts RN license preferred)
Current Emergency Room RN certification (ACLS, BLS, and PALS preferred)
Minimum 4 years of RN experience in acute care or emergency nursing
At least 1 year of travel nursing experience and Level 1 trauma center experience required
Eligible candidates must have last name starting with A-L (see separate posting for M-Z)
Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Completion of all onboarding requirements (background checks, health screenings, skills checklist, etc.)

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department
Assess, triage, and manage acute and emergent patient conditions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions according to protocols
Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with hospital policies
Participate in ongoing professional development and emergency nursing training
