ICU Nurse Job Details

Assignment Length: 8 weeks
Start Date: January 5, 2026
End Date: February 28, 2026
Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
Nursing Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights: 7a-7:30p & 7p-7:30a)
Hours per Week: 36 hours (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)
Location: Cambridge, MA 02138 – Massachusetts nursing jobs
Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Massachusetts RN jobs
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Ability to float between ICU and IMCU units
Full assignment availability; no holiday or time-off requests

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to ICU and IMCU patients
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform advanced nursing interventions
Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
Float between ICU and IMCU as required
