Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, OH 44125 (Ohio travel nursing jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse (3 East/West Unit)
• Start Date: January 9, 2026
• End Date: April 10, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Flexible Shift Options: 2x12, 3x12, or 4x12-hour shifts available
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,780 – $1,910

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required prior to travel
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State nursing license required at time of application
• Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications (active, not pending)
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• Two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Telemetry (from assignments within the past 12 months; charge RN references accepted)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen (including nicotine/cotinine) within 12 months of start date
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores
• BCI/FBI background prints must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from previous end date

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient care and assessments in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Participate in orientation, ongoing nursing education, and required clinical assessments
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards
