Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$30.27 - $40.86 / hour
Summary
We are looking for experienced candidates with both Utilization Management and strong Case Management backgrounds. You will be working on the Throughput Team and this position will be mainly REMOTE (after your 90 day introductory period). This is a Monday through Friday opportunity with NO weekends.
You will be performing utilization management functions to ensure regulatory compliance, medical necessity, and appropriate level of care. Facilitates timely and concurrent documentation within the medical record to accurately reflect patient care, services, and resources utilized. Consistently meets established productivity and accuracy standards across all utilization management processes.
Requirements
Education
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Bachelors degree in a related healthcare field preferred
Experience
Minimum of three (3) years of acute care hospital clinical experience required
Utilization management experience within the past two (2) years with a focus on acute care
Certification
Case Management certification preferred (ACM, CCM, CMCN, or NACCM)
License
Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida required
Other Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer proficiency
Analytical skills with attention to grammar and spelling
Ability to effectively multitask and manage competing responsibilities
