Minimum 2 years experience working in Maternal Infant Unit or Post Partum setting, 2 years Charge Nurse or Lead Nurse experience, and 1 year Supervisor experience ALL required. Will work on the floor with staff as needed. Will rotate working in the nursery; will go to the OR and help with skin to skin and will be the baby nurse while Mom is in recovery. Will provide breast feeding support. May be responsible for managing post partum patients on magnesium sulfate drip.
