Registered Nurse - MS/Tele
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Nights (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
- Patient Ratios: 1:5, with possible 1:6-7
- Weekend Requirement: Yes; 3 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- On-call: No
- Floating: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
- Block Schedule: Not accommodated
- Locals Accepted: Yes
- Pending License Accepted: No
- Time Off Restrictions: No holiday time off; max 5 total days off in 13-week assignment. No additional time off after contract start. No time off approved the day before, day of, or day after a holiday.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting

Policies & Compliance
- Zero-fault attendance policy:
- 2 missed shifts = warning
- 3+ missed shifts = possible cancellation
- Background check required within 30 days of start (7-year criminal search including multiple counties)
- Drug test required within 30 days of start (10-panel, negative results)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, must state "cleared to work" with physician signature
- Immunizations and titers required:
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
- Hepatitis B (series or titer or signed declination)
- Varicella
- Flu vaccine or approved exemption during flu season (Oct 1 – May 1)
- TB testing: Negative PPD, Q-Gold, or T-spot within 1 year; chest x-ray if prior positive
- Education verification required: diploma or transcript (cannot be pending)
- References: 2 required prior to start
- Skills checklist and competency exam required for unit
- Mandatory completion of facility-specific training modules before start date

- Candidates must provide a badge photo meeting specific requirements (plain white background, clear front-facing, no filters) before start
- Modules and training must be completed by specified deadlines prior to start
- No international background checks required
- No exceptions or waivers granted for background check hits
- Must comply with all facility-specific documentation and agreements prior to start
