Description
CT Tech Travel Position - Florida
Location
- City: Davie, Florida
Employment Type
- Travel assignment
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Approximately 36 hours per week
- Day and night shifts covered by one tech each
Unit Information
- Unit type: CT and X-ray
- Number of beds: 11
- Staff: 1 tech covering both CT and X-ray
- Equipment: GE imaging systems
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Call requirements: None
Typical Procedures
- CT exams: head, chest, abdomen and pelvis, pulmonary embolism (PE), stroke
- X-ray exams: chest, abdomen, extremities, spine, head
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT Certification
- BLS certification
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
